Zip lining in Jodhpur with Flying Fox

Zip lining in Jodhpur with Flying Fox
Zip lining is a fun activity that lets you glide serenely over the mighty Mehrangarh Fort and take in stunning views of the Blue City of Jodhpur. Not for the faint hearted, rest assured this activity is also not anywhere near extreme adventure. It is perfect for anyone looking for a little adrenaline rush and a bit of excitement. There are six zip lines, up to 300m long and each zip lining activity lasts for approximately 1 to 1.5 hours.
After your arrival at the Chokelao Garden, there will be a comprehensive verbal and written safety brief with a practice session on a short trial zip line by the experts at Flying Fox. After this, it would be time to make your choice
The six zip lines are the Chokelao Challenge (115m long), Ranisar Rollercoaster (170m), Chhota Wallah (70m), Jai Jodha (270m), Rajput’s Revenge (160m) and the Magnificent Marwar (300m).
After you have picked your line, suited up, locked into your harness and worked through your initial nerves, stretch one foot out into the waiting sky and then … you are off!
With the wind blowing through your hair as you cascade down the cliff, while feasting your eyes upon the vibrant blue buildings of Jodhpur dotting the arid landscape below, it is hard not to feel free, unencumbered and joyful as you fly from one side of the fort to the other. Waiting for you at the end is a strong, reassuring hand but it is almost guaranteed that the moment you touch the ground, you will want to go again! Good thing, there are five more zip-lines to choose from, each with its own individual majesty. Happy zipping!

“I spent an entire evening at the Samode village singing and dancing with the locals in their colourful traditional attire. I even tried the Chari dance with a pot on my head. Yes, a definite must try for everyone!”

Rural Rajasthan
Bright, traditional, rustic yet soulful – that is rural Rajasthan for you! Considering the chaotic and busy lives we live, visiting the interiors of the state will make you realize how meditatively beautiful life is beyond the hustle bustle of the cities.
While the desert state is considered a perfect embodiment of richness and royalty, it also offers a much humble sight of a Persian wheel irrigating the lush fields in its rural areas. A group of traditionally dressed women, carrying clay pots on their heads, walking down the dust roads and turban-clad men with majestic mustaches sweating it out in the fields, is a common sight that you will see as you drive through the state. And they do it so effortlessly without any trace of discomfort that, it will not just inspire you but will make you appreciate the simplistic beauty of life.
